Following the training, HHSA employees will be able to: Identify institutional barriers to equity, meaning of systemic racism, learn historical context of striving toward an equitable society from different viewpoints; understand the concept of unconscious bias; the local context of equity; recognize structural obstacles that client populations face in seeking public services.
