Through this course, participants will learn about intersectionality as a vital framework for analyzing and dismantling systems of oppression that impact the lives of LGBTQ+ people. We will explore the roles and responsibilities of both the privileged and the subjugated in promoting social justice and equity for LGBTQ+ people in social service/health settings. Participants will leave the training with action steps for LGBTQ+ health equity using research-based and community-defined best practices.
